Refund policy

We want you to love every Blinglane piece you bring home. If something isn't quite right, we've built one of the most generous returns and exchanges policies in fine jewellery - designed to feel as effortless as the way our pieces wear.

For all purposes of this policy, "Blinglane", "we", "us", and "our" refer to Blinglane Inc.

The 15-Day Window

You have 15 days from the date your order is delivered to initiate a return or an exchange - for any reason. The same window applies to both.

To begin, head to our self-service Returns Portal on blinglane.com and follow the one-click flow. You'll be guided through eligibility, reason for return, and reverse-pickup scheduling in under two minutes.

What Can Be Returned or Exchanged

The vast majority of our pieces are returnable and exchangeable within the 15-day window, in original packaging with the original invoice. Tags are optional — we know they sometimes come off.

Items NOT eligible for return or exchange:

  • Personalised, engraved, or monogrammed pieces - crafted uniquely for you
  • Made-to-Order pieces - produced specifically against your order
  • Pierced earrings, studs, and hoops - excluded on hygiene and safety grounds, in line with global premium jewellery standards

Gift cards may only be refunded to the original purchaser, within 15 days of purchase, against the original invoice.

Condition Required for Return

To be eligible, the returned item must arrive at our processing centre in original packaging along with the original invoice. Tags are not mandatory. We do not require the item to be in unused condition - try it on, see how it feels - but the piece must not be damaged, soiled, or altered beyond what reasonable trial would entail.

How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

  1. Visit the Customer Account Portal at account.blinglane.com and sign in to your account.
  2. Select the order and item(s) you wish to return or exchange.
  3. Choose Return (refund) or Exchange (size, colour, or any other Blinglane piece).
  4. Pick your preferred reverse-pickup date and time slot.
  5. Pack the item in its original box with the invoice - our courier partner will pick it up from your door.

You'll receive confirmation by email, SMS, and WhatsApp at each step.

Free Reverse Pickup

We arrange and fully pay for the reverse pickup of your return from anywhere in India. You will never be asked to pay shipping, courier, or handling fees on an eligible return. This is our standard - not a perk.

For exchanges, we also cover the cost of shipping out your replacement piece. Both legs are on us.

Refunds

How you'll receive your refund

You may choose your refund route during the return process:

  • Refund to original payment method - back to the card, UPI, wallet, or net-banking account used at checkout, in INR, via Razorpay's standard refund flow under the RBI PA-CB framework.
  • Store credit - issued instantly upon return receipt, usable across all Blinglane products. No expiry.

Refund timeline

  • We initiate your refund within 3 business days of receiving the returned item at our processing centre.
  • The refund typically reflects in your account within 5 to 10 business days of initiation, depending on your bank or payment provider.

No restocking fees

We do not charge any restocking fee, return fee, or processing fee on eligible returns. The refund is 100% of what you paid, including any shipping charges where applicable on the original order.

No cap on returns

There is no limit to how many orders you can return within our policy. We trust our customers and assume good faith on every interaction.

Exchanges

Within the 15-day window, you can exchange any returnable item for any other Blinglane piece - a different size, a different colour, a completely different style, or anything from our current collection.

Price differences are handled transparently:

  • If your new piece costs more than the original, we'll send you a secure Razorpay payment link for the difference.
  • If your new piece costs less, the difference is refunded to your original payment method (or added to store credit, your choice).

Exchange limit: None. You can keep exchanging within the 15-day window until you find the right piece.

If your exchange piece is out of stock: You will be offered three options at the time of return - (a) a full refund to your original payment method, (b) full store credit, or (c) a notify-on-restock alert combined with a temporary store-credit hold, redeemable when the item is back in stock.

Damaged, Defective or Wrong Item on Delivery

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or contains the wrong item, please report it within 48 hours of delivery along with a complete, unedited unboxing video as proof. Email care@blinglane.com or WhatsApp +1-425-464-5263.

On verification, you may choose either a free replacement at our cost or a full refund of the order value, including any shipping charges paid. We handle all return logistics at no charge to you.

The 48-hour window and unboxing-video requirement are industry standard for high-value jewellery and protect both you and us against transit fraud. They are not optional.

Cancellations

You may cancel your order at any time before dispatch for a full refund. Once your order has been handed over to the courier and is in transit, it can no longer be cancelled - please use this Returns & Exchanges Policy after delivery instead.

International Orders (USA, UK, UAE, Australia, Singapore, EU and Tier-1 Markets)

All international sales are FINAL SALE. We do not accept change-of-mind returns or exchanges on orders shipped outside India, given the operational complexity and cost of cross-border returns.

The single exception: If your international order arrives damaged, defective, or contains the wrong item, you remain fully covered under our Damaged or Wrong Item policy above. Report within 48 hours of delivery with an unboxing video, and you will receive either a free replacement or a full refund - consistent with consumer protection law in your country.

This final-sale rule is highlighted at checkout, in your order confirmation email, and on the product page so there are no surprises.
